1. Your use of JustCover Limited Website and its services is an acknowledgement and acceptance by you that you have read and understood all disclaimers, notices and instructions and the terms and conditions as set out or referred to in this Website including disclosure.
2. Quotations obtained from this Website are the terms of the JustCover Limited Insurer based upon the information provided by you the Customer. Your application for cover through this Website is for a contract of Insurance arranged by JustCover Limited with the Underwriter Zurich Insurance Europe AG - Belgian Branch, whose rates you have chosen.
3.You are not authorised to add the JustCover.ie Website (without prior written permission) in any manner as a link on any other Website.
5.Unless otherwise stated, all quotations are inclusive of levies and premium taxes.
6.The precise Insurers terms and conditions of any JustCover Limited may agree to give are set out in a standard policy subject to amendment by endorsement or other appropriate variation. You are invited to review the Insurers standard policy which is available on request or on the website under Full Policy Wording.

JustCover Limited accepts no responsibility for any accidental loss or liabilities incurred by visitors to this site nor do we accept any liability in relation to contracts of insurance made as a result of the use of this site. We have a strictly controlled and monitored security policy in place and we accept no responsibility for errors or omissions that might occur as a result of a deliberate breach of this security.
Premium Payment
All insurance Policy are effected on the express condition that full payment has been received and accepted by JustCover Limited. JustCover Limited reserves the right notwithstanding delivery of policy or receipt to the insured, to cancel the policy.
Delivery Methods
Upon receipt of the premium from the insured, A Policy Certificate is produced and appears on the Customers screen, JustCover Limited will email a copy of this Policy to the Customer within 48 hours of receipt of payment.
Terms of Business

This Terms of Business document sets out the general terms under which we will provide travel insurance services to you and the respective duties and responsibilities of both the firm and you in relation to such services. Please ensure that you read these terms thoroughly and if you have any queries, we will be happy to clarify them. If any material changes are made to these terms, we will notify you and/or issue you with a replacement Terms of Business. By transacting business, we assume that you accept the terms of business as presented.
Governing Law
Our terms of business shall be governed by and construed in all respects according to the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
About JustCover
We are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The firm is regulated under reference number C29197 as an insurance intermediary under the European Union (Insurance Distribution) Regulations 2018. Copies of our regulatory authorisations are available on request.
We are subject to the Central Bank of Ireland's Consumer Protection Code, Minimum Competency Code and Fitness and Probity standards. These codes can be found on the Central Bank of Ireland's website www.centralbank.ie. We are listed on the Central Bank of Ireland's register of regulated firms. Our Services
Our principal business is to provide advice and arrange transactions on behalf of clients in relation to travel insurance products. Advice on travel insurance products is provided on the basis of a limited analysis of the market, meaning we only supply products and services on behalf of product providers/underwriters with whom we have a written agreement, and for whom we exclusively conduct insurance distribution business.

Conduct
We endeavour in all transactions to act honestly and fairly in the best interests of our clients and the integrity of the market while complying with all regulatory requirements applicable to the conduct of our business activities. We will assist you with any queries you may have in relation to your policies or in the event of a claim during the life of the policies and we will explain to you the key restrictions, conditions and exclusions attached to your policy. Should you require additional assistance because of a vulnerability, please let us know; we are here to help. However, it is your responsibility to read the policy documents and supporting literature to ensure that you understand the nature of the policy cover and the restrictions which may apply.
Renumeration agreements
Unless we tell you otherwise before you take out or renew an insurance policy with us, we are remunerated for our services in the form of commission from the insurer, which is either a percentage of the total annual premium payable or a reasonable amount determined by us plus any charges (see below) we ask you to pay us in addition to the premium. Our entitlement to commission, where this forms part of or all of our remuneration, arises as soon as you give us instructions to take out or renew a particular policy. A summary of the details of the arrangements we have agreed is available on on our website at www.justcover.ie. For each policy, including any subsequent renewal, you have a right to request further information about the remuneration we receive as a result of placing your insurance business.
Schedule of fees and charges
Policy amendment charge: A fee of up to €15
If any additional transaction(s) result in an increase in the transactional and administrative costs these costs may be incurred by you; e.g. online administration handling fees, call centre handling fees and postage costs.
Customer Default
We will exercise its our legal rights to receive payments due to us from customers for travel insurance services provided. We will take such steps as may be necessary to recover any monies due to us including the instigation of legal proceedings, the appointment of a receiver and all other rights available to us. Your cover may also be withdrawn by the insurer in the event of default on payments due. Consumer responsibilities arising out of the Consumer Insurance Contracts Act 2019 indicate that the consumer is under a duty to pay their premium within a reasonable time, or otherwise in accordance with the terms of the contract of insurance. A court of competent jurisdiction can reduce the pay-out to the consumer where they are in breach of their duties under the Act, in proportion to the breach involved. We would refer you to policy documents or product terms for the details of such provisions.
Conflicts of Interest
It is our policy to avoid any conflict of interest when providing business services to our clients. However, where an unavoidable conflict of interest arises we will advise you of the steps we propose to take in order to protect your interests before providing you with any business service.
Cooling off period/Cancellations
A consumer (as defined by SI No. 853 of European Communities (Distance Marketing of Consumer Financial Services) Regulations 2004) has the right to withdraw from an insurance policy within 14 days of the start date of the policy without penalty and without giving any reason - this is known as the 'Cooling Off' period. The right of withdrawal may be exercised by notice to JustCover Ltd by quoting your policy number. The right to withdraw applies within 14 days of the policy being issued or before your travel (start) date - whichever is sooner - without penalty (less any credit card charges). The right to withdraw also applies provided that you have not travelled on the policy, no claim or adjustment has been made or is intended to be made, or no incident has occurred which is likely to give rise to a claim.
Complaints
We take complaints made against us very seriously and maintain a procedure to ensure that complaints are dealt with promptly and fairly. Whilst we are happy to receive verbal complaints, it would be preferable that any complaints are made in writing.
We will acknowledge complaints in writing within 5 business days of the complaint being received. Complaints will be investigated fully as swiftly as possible, and the complainant will receive an update on the complaint at intervals of not greater than 20 business days starting from the date on which the complaint is received. We will attempt to investigate and resolve complaints within 40 business days of receipt. When the 40 days have elapsed, if the complaint is still not resolved, we will inform the complainant of the anticipated timeframe within which we hope to resolve the complaint. On completion of our investigation, we will provide the complainant with a written outcome letter, explaining the outcome of the investigation and where applicable, the terms of any offer or settlement being made. In the event that the complainant remains dissatisfied with our handling of, or response to the complaint, they will be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman FSPO. We wish to be transparent in how we process your data and show you that we are accountable to the GDPR in relation to not only processing your data but ensuring you understand your rights as a customer. Data will be processed only in ways compatible with the purposes for which it was given. Investor Compensation Scheme
We are members of the Investor Compensation Scheme operated by the Investor Compensation Company Ltd. The scheme was established under the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 (as amended) (the "Act") and provides for the payment, in certain circumstances, of compensation to certain customers (known as eligible investors) of authorised investment firms, as defined in that Act.
Compensation may be payable where money or investment instruments owed or belonging to you and held, administered or managed by the firm cannot be returned to you either for the time being, or for the foreseeable future. The right to compensation will arise only:
• If you are an eligible investor as defined by the Act;
• If it transpires that Just Cover Ltd is not in a position to return client money or investment instruments owned or belonging to you; and
• To the extent that your loss is recognised for the purposes of the Act.
Where an entitlement to compensation is established, the compensation payable will be the lesser of 90% of your loss which is recognised for the purposes of the Investor Compensation Act 1998, or €20,000. Brokers Ireland Compensation Fund
As a member of Brokers Ireland, we are also a member of the Brokers Ireland Compensation Fund. Subject to the rules of the scheme the liabilities of its member firms up to a maximum of €100,000 per client (or €250,000 in aggregate) may be discharged by the fund on its behalf if the member firm is unable to do so, where the above detailed Investor Compensation Scheme has failed to adequately compensate any client of the member. Fraud
Please note that by accepting these terms of business, you are confirming that you and any traveller to be insured under our policies:
• Have never had insurance refused, cancelled or special terms imposed in the past 5 years.
• Have no known circumstances that would invalidate your travel insurance policy.
• Have no pending prosecutions or unspent criminal convictions for fraud, dishonesty or deception.

Zurich Insurance Europe AG is regulated by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BAFin) in Germany and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for conduct of business rules.

Summary of Remuneration
JustCover Limited is an insurance intermediary. We have arrangements in place with one provider, Zurich Insurance Europe AG - Belgian Branch, in respect of the travel insurance we offer through www.justcover.ie. We are remunerated for our services in the form of commission from the provider, which is, on average, forty-nine percent of the total premium payable per policy. Our entitlement to this commission, where this forms part of or all of our remuneration, arises as soon as you give us instructions to take out or renew a particular policy. We also have other non-target driven arrangements in place which allows us be remunerated if the portfolio is profitable, in the form of a profit share agreement.
